Midway On High

We were hired to be a part of a comprehensive remodel of Midway On High, an infamous campus bar that was in need of a complete rebrand and a stylish facelift. Our objective was to infuse the space with an abundance of color, light, and form to reshape it into an energetic and youthful atmosphere that would resonate with the student community. To efficiently manage the project, we split up into two specialized teams, ensuring that we could effectively tackle the unique challenges of each floor. In addition, we brought on board the talented local artist Dillon Beck, who was commissioned to create a stunning mural that would beautifully connect the two floors.

This project consisted of the following key elements:

• 40’ layered LED wall sculpture wrapping along the bar walls downstairs. Programmed with 5 custom animations.

• 30’ custom epoxy bar top in a teal gradient

• Two 10’ matching epoxy bar tops in an orange gradient

• 20’ mirror wall and LED lit seating

• 10 custom high top epoxy tables in collaboration with Dillon Beck

• Immersive parametric wall sculptures upstairs consisting of over 20,000 LED’s. Programmed with various animations as well as the ability to mirror the visuals from the DJ booth
